Our Staff
The staff of Wallace Appraisal Services are all members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and adhere to its Code of Ethics. All designated members and candidates carry full Professional Liability Insurance and participate in mandatory Continuing Education and Recertification programs. Each appraiser is licensed by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA).

James (Jim) F
Awarded AACI designation in 1989
Jim has been appraising real estate since 1978. He began valuing residential property with a small fee appraisal firm then worked as an in-house appraiser and mortgage officer for a major trust company. Prior to starting Wallace Appraisal Services in 1993,he was employed with a local appraisal firm for 13 years. He has a wide range of experience valuing all forms of residential property, including single family and multi-family dwellings, country residential acreages. Jim has also appraised a variety of commercial and industrial properties, vacant land, and farmland.Consulting work has involved appraisal and real estate arbitrations, expert witness court testimony and appearances before city council and planning boards.In addition to the regular appraisal of high-end residential properties and appraisals involving legal matters, Jim oversees candidate's work and handles office administration and IT issues. Jim has served on the Professional Development Committee for the National Office of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is a past member of the executive of the Calgary Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (1993 to 1997). He has also taught appraisal courses for the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Calgary. Jim lives with his family in the Edgemont area in Northwest Calgary. He is a backgammon expert, playing regularly on the Internet, and enjoys snowboarding. He is a past president of the Alberta Snowboarding Association and is a FIS certified freestyle judge and Level 1 CSF official. |

J.M. (Jean-Marc)
Awarded CRA designation 1994
J.M. and has twenty years of residential appraising experience in Calgary and surrounding rural areas and has been with Wallace Appraisal Services for 14 years. He has done extensive work in rural areas and towns near Calgary, including Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond, Turner Valley, Dewinton, and surrounding Municipal Districts such as Foothills and Rocky View. Prior to work in the appraisal field, J.M.gained ten years experience with financial institutions, eight of these in mortgage lending. J.M. lives in the southwest Calgary area of Canyon Meadows with his wife Terry and four children, Brianne, Josh, Zach and Ty. J.M. enjoys travelling, is an avid sports fan, a retired soccer coach, and enjoys following the latest sports news on tsn.ca |

Eva Luxton
CRA Designation
Eva started her appraising career in 2002. She has been appraising residential properties since early 2003 and joined Wallace Appraisal Services in July 2003. Following her completion of all required courses and experience requirements, Eva was award the CRA designation in June 2007. Eva specializes in appraising residential properties located in the City of Calgary,Airdrie, Cochrane and other towns and villages near Calgary. Much of her work involves appraising rural holdings in the M.D. of Rocky View, Foothills, Mountain View County and the M.D. of Bighorn.Eva lives with her husband in northwest Calgary, near many of the communities where she regularly completes appraisals. In her off time, she is involved with the local music community. Her interests include the fiddle, reading, and travel. |

Deanna Allen
Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute
Deanna has been a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2006 and joined Wallace Appraisals in January 2007. She completes appraisals on a fullrange of residential properties, both urban and rural, and is continuing to complete educational courses and experience requirements toward her CRA designation. (As a candidate, all appraisals are supervised and co-signed by a designated appraiser on staff) |
